Hi everyone! I was on vacation on the Portuguese island of Porto Santo and thought of a good spot for a cache there. I know the rules say a cache has to be close to the cache's creator so it can be maintained. But I decided to take a chance and created a cache. As expected, the reviewer rejected my cache and said they'd approve it if I found a local geocacher willing to maintain it. I've contacted two geocachers online who live in Porto Santo, have created many caches, and have recently visited the geocaching site, but they haven't responded yet.
Is there any other way I can find someone who could help me? The official geocaching site has a forum with sections by country, but it's not very popular; many threads haven't been updated in years.
