MLK & Eastern
My fiancé and I are planning on moving from our apartment in the Cascade area, to a place near the intersection of MLK Jr St. and Eastern Ave.
However, I started reading some posts on this subreddit about that specific area and now I'm feeling stressed about it. Is the area around that intersection really that bad?
My beautiful fiancé doesn't drive, so she may have to take the bus every once in a while. Will she be safe at the bus stops there, or is she going to be harassed? I'm mainly worried about her being safe and feeling safe.
edit: Thanks everyone for your comments, I appreciate the people sharing their experiences. I've sent a message to the realtor and we won't be living there. Luckily we didn't pay a deposit yet, just the application fees.
It was the new home closest to that intersection to the south west for those asking, so we would have been very close.
