A bit of a niche one here…. but I was laughing to myself earlier about how many times I’ve found myself in an absolutely desperate situation where while out on the bike, for whatever reason I ended up having to bring something crazy back home with me. Something ridiculously big, heavy, inconvenient, etc.

Everybody has times where they’ve thrown some drive-thru food in their hoodie, but I’m talking about times I’ve ended up with a massive box dumb shit from Facebook marketplace and have to use my belt to wrap it tight around passenger seat (picture attached) and I was terrified the entire 45-minute ride back on the highway.

I’m not talking about actual cargo carriers, those are for people who plan ahead. I was to see a 72” flat-screen on a Harley Sportster tied down with a shoe lace… extra points if you got it home safe, however I’d love to see the massive fails too!

For anyone with experience using the mobile tools for EMA/ESM-based studies, would y'all mind sharing your experience and/or opinions on working with specific software? It seems unwise to trust a Google search anymore as the tools first advertised, I imagine may not be the best and may simply be the ones who've paid the most for the ad placement. e.g., ExpiWell, m-Path, ModMed, NeuroUX, etc.

Info on pricing, whether or not the tool used was user friendly in designing the study itself, but more importantly from the participants perspective (specifically the mobile-app), did it reliably send notifications out on time, also whether response rates were consistent throughout the duration of a longitudinal design given expected attrition. Really, anything else about your experience that might be helpful is very much appreciated, thanks!
