Trying to get benefits for my 93 year old dad

My father served in the AF from 1950-1974 and has never applied for disability. This past year after my husband first got rated (he served in the USMC for Desert Shield/Desert Storm and also did not file or get rated until 2024), we figured it might be worth filing for my dad and he just got 10% for tinnitus. His medical record book is extremely thin but the VSO did find 4 things in his medical records: left foot pain, rectal pain, bilateral leg numbness and anxiety. So he told us to focus on that. My dad has memory issues. Whenever we asked him about any illnesses or anything during his service he always maintained he was never sick and never went to the clinic. But here we find these things although I’m sure he won’t recall going in for them. I’m not military and my dad retired when I was 6 so I am not well versed in this. Any guidance or suggestions for pursuing these for my dad would be so appreciated. He really could use the money to help pay for a higher level of assisted living. Another question is how much detail do I need to put on an intent to file for these 4 conditions? I don’t think I will be able to get much info about it from my dad.
