Did anyone apply to their program and got a phone call for interview yet ? I’m starting to lose hope. I turned down 2 major jobs for this program because I really want to get in. I haven’t been working because I’m kinda waiting on this opportunity. I didn’t wanna quit all of a sudden if I do get in to the program but now Im losing hope because I haven’t even got a phone call for an interview and school starts on sep 21.

Hello everyone, I posted here a couple days ago I was offered a position. The compensation was very low and so I counter offered it and they gave me $2k more (so $59k) but still $5k less than what I had counter offered…
Let me brief you guys again, it was 4/10s, a 73 mile commute to and from San Diego. I’ve been very sad about it and I’m not sure if I made the right decision.
Hello everyone.
I recently got offered a job with LM. It’s a supply chain job. I was in the Navy 5 yrs and went to GS but didn’t last long maybe 11 months? Because I decided to go back to school. When I went back to school, I had quit that job and my husband was ok with me going to school FT. The career field I tried to go to school for doesn’t really pay well and I told him I might just have to hold off going back to study again.
So 2 months ago I applied for a supply chain job and didn’t think I was even going to get pass the ATS. So when I found out I was scheduled for an interview I got so excited and really prepared myself.
I haven’t been working since Apr 2025 because I was in school. I finished school in Nov 2025. The position I was offered is 73 miles and they asked me for a salary range and I told them… I got an email today with the offer letter and it’s $20k less than what I asked for… when I was doing GS I was a GS9 step 1 so I was taking home $1700 after taxes every 2 weeks and this new position is paid weekly…
Is it worth the drive to take on a $57k job and drive 73 miles one way 4 days a week 10 hr shifts??? I’m thinking of doing a counter offer but not sure what would be a feasible but not outrageous difference where I won’t even get the job.
TIA🫶🏻
Edit: this job is in San Diego… I don’t think $57k is enough to even live in the city. I’m married and 100% VA.
