So, I found this Congressman's page (https://wittman.house.gov/constituent-services/casework/opm.htm) which says that there is a 9 month backlog there! I am DRP 2 with regular retirement on 9/30. A few weeks ago I was told that my application is in the "legal branch" with no ETA of completion. Has anyone been processed FASTER than that, i.e. finalized already with retirement on 9/30 with a court order dividing benefits? Anyone know if the backlog is counted based on when the application reaches that office or just reaches OPM?
