Accidentally had a thing with a married man…
So, I messed up and I need advice on how to proceed.
I met this guy who was teaching a safety class that I had to take for work. As soon as I walked into the class there was instant chemistry and we flirted back and forth for two days before I eventually asked for his number and we met up and slept together. He lives in a different province than me and over the course of the last couple months we have been meeting up when we can to sleep together and hang out.
The last time we hung out he opens up and tells me that he is actually married (!!!!) and has three young kids under 7 (one of them being only 8 months old) and that he and his wife are having “problems” and are basically separated. I kept my cool in the moment but was livid. Since then I have ghosted him and screenshotted all of our texts and all of the pictures he sent me. I know what town he is from but I can’t find him or his wife on any socials, however, I did join several Facebook community groups in his town. I have been seriously considering making posts in these groups that include the texts/pictures and basically putting him on blast in the hopes that his wife sees it or someone who knows her will. I have tried to join the “Are We Dating The Same Guy?” group in his area but they aren’t letting me in, so this was my solution.
Bottom line, I am really angry that I got conned into being involved with this and I feel terrible for his wife. Half of me wants to burn his whole life to the ground and the other half is telling me to just let it go. What should I do?
