I'm hitting a mental roadblock trying to figure out what to do with the axe to really make it stand out/elevate the miniature. I'm new to painting and don't really have a great intuitive feel for this kind of thing. (By the way the model was printed on a P2S so I had to work with the layer lines.

I've only been painting for a couple of weeks but I think I've made decent progress so far. What things should I work on?

I paid full price for this book when it came out and it's incredible. The art is phenomenal, the book is huge and the print quality is great as well. Can't go wrong at that price.

Would love feedback + criticism.
