Happy to have hit Masterball with my favorite duo
I've ran Slowking in "tail room like" teams before and liked how they turned out, but decided to go hard trick room this time as I wanted to make Mega Slowbro work as much as possible.
Slowking: The Carry. Almost impossible to one shot. Sets up trick room. Tells a chillingly bad joke. Refuses to elaborate. Leaves. Can comeback later in the game with half it's health or more to set up trick room again if needed. Is a fairy type's worst nightmare.
Slowbro: I really wanted to make him work. It's a shame the meta is so hostile towards him atm. I made him a bit of a mixed attacker that doesn't care about intimidate. Had to max out Sp Def to have him survive as much as possible. Games with this team are LONG. So surviving long enough to set up a second trick room is important. No def investment KO's anything 4x weak not named Kingambit or Mega Tyranitar with one body press.
Sinistcha: Tried other grass types to complete the grass/fire/water core but they didn't work out in trick room. Really good into rain teams with more than one grass weak water type. Increases the teams survivability long term.
Incineroar: makes perish trap match ups very easy. Between the cat, Slowking and Sinistcha it's very easy to get into a good position. Helps with trick room set up. Gets rid of pesky psychic types the team doesn't like. The GOAT is not washed.
Crabominable: I knew I needed another slow mega that could punch holes through other teams if needed and experimented with a few and finally settled with the crab.
Rotom: the team needed an electric, and since I was already setting the snow anyway I went with the fridge. Provides spread damage. Keeps water types in check.
It's not a great team, but I had fun playing it to Master Ball tier and even out playing a few meta teams along the way.
The team could definitely use a few improvements and I'll play around with it now that I'm finally in Masterball tier.
