Hi guys, can anyone help with a Seagate 2tb hdd that no longer shows on my xbox (one s) but still powers up (I can hear the disc spinning when plugged in)
I've tried new leads, different ports, cleaning the ports etc. I've plugged it into my laptop but it doesn't show up unless I jiggle the lead and ever so slightly pull it out from the USB port (photo of what it comes up with) but it's definitely not the lead because I've tried it on my other drives and it's fine. Could anyone tell me if this is common and fixable, or whether it's just broken now. It has a lot of games and stuff on it which can be redownloaded but I can't afford a new hdd of the same size any time soon so if there's any way at all I can fix it I'm open to all suggestions ( including how I can prevent this in future if I do manage to fix it.)
