Mismatch timelines
Please help! Our family started the job application process months ago looking to move to a new state to be closer to family. We made it pretty far, even receiving final round interviews and have 2 pending job offers! The timing of our move is now compromised and needs to be delayed for about 4-6 months due to several factors, (new RSU bonus that will vest in September, partners timing for licensure and job transition). Having one of us stop working is NOT an option. What are the chances these companies would be open to delayed starts this far out? Is it burning a bridge to decline now due to poor timing and reach back out in a few months? If I revisit the job circuit in a few months will I be blacklisted at these companies for turning down offers?
