Season 7 IDs have been amazing and don't get enough praise
For the first time in limbus history, it feels like most teams have open ended team building that has multiple different compositions. While I won't sell you the lie that differences between teams of the same status are huge, the fact that there is a choice is amazing
This has been achieved through the amazing design of IDs this season
The house of spiders IDs work to create a team of their own, but also can be combined with their faction to instead fuel a specific status effect
In that way, ryoshu can be used in a burn team, providing constant burn activation
Index yi sang and don work in pride poise teams
Ring faust and Hong Lu are made for bleed
And future IDs like middle outis and the thumb nursefather + apprentice will add the same depth of decision making
Season 6 in comparison was much lamer, with the heisohu only working in their own team, and the capstone ID only working as a team leader to them, with little usage in other teams (except maybe in burn)
If every season is like this from now on, limbus will gain huge depth in terms of team building
