Anyone else finding it hard to make genuine friends in Hobart?

Early 30s and have been in Hobart a few years now. I work remotely, which I think can make meeting people a bit harder, and I’ve found building genuine friendships here harder than expected.

I’ve put myself out there a bit and tried a few groups/activities already, but I think I connect better in more natural settings rather than structured meetups and still haven’t quite found my people.

I’ve generally never had much trouble building friendships in other places I’ve lived or travelled, so I’ve found Hobart a bit harder to navigate socially than I expected.

Pretty active, enjoy getting outdoors, trying new places, getting out for a drink, and generally getting out and doing things.

Keen to meet people around a similar stage of life, hear what’s worked for others around Hobart, or connect if anyone’s in a similar boat.
