I am currently shopping for a used car but I am stuck on whether it's better to buy from a dealership or a private seller. I know dealerships often offer warranties and financing options, while private sellers typically have lower prices.

Has anyone here bought from either option? What did you prioritize when making your decision? I’m trying to figure out if the peace of mind from buying at a dealership is worth the slightly higher price or if going the private seller route would make more sense for saving a bit more money.
