Sheet Goblin now builds and prints with the latest Nimble rules: Core Rules 3.0 and the 3.0 edition of all eleven core classes.

  • The latest rules, recently updated for those that backed the kickstarter or has access to the digital rules updates: Core rules, gear, spells, conditions and boons follow Core Rules 3.0, and every core class follows its 3.0 book. For what changed in the rules themselves, read the author's full changelog.
  • Your heroes come along. Characters you already built open on the new rules, and a "Rules updated" note on the sheet tells you so. Open Edit, check your picks and save, and the note goes away.
  • Changed picks are flagged, not lost. If an ability you picked was removed or reworked in 3.0, the builder names it and asks you to pick a replacement. If your class now gives fewer picks at your level, your sheet keeps printing them all until you trim to the new count in the builder.
  • New class engines on page 1. Your core card shows each class's 3.0 engine, like the Zephyr's Momentum, which gets a blank to pencil in since it has no maximum. The Stormshifter's Direbeast charges show "Recharges each encounter".
  • Know which rules you're on. Each class card in the builder shows its release version and when Sheet Goblin last updated it, like "Release version 3.0 (last updated: Oct 4, 2026)".

Read about Sheet Goblin updates, a lot has been updated the past few weeks. https://sheetgoblin.com/whats-new/nimble#2026-10-04-nimble-3-0-is-here-new-core-rules-and-every-core-class

You can try it without an account, but here is an Invite Link if you'd like an account.

I originally built this for my players, and now for the Nimble community, so it's entirely free to use. If you run a campaign as well, DM me and I can promote your account to Organizer, giving you some additional homebrew and campaign sharing options, like secret spell reveals for a specific player, or entire group.

Sheet Goblin: For players that prefer using a well organized paper character sheet, but the convenience of digital character generation

I'm a UX Designer and Engineer that used my professional skills to built Sheet Goblin for my weekly Nimble campaign and to make it easier for new players to learn Nimble when I run introductory 1-shots. I figured I’d finally share it with the Nimble community after players pressured me to make it publicly available.

Why build my own? My players wanted the convenience of an online character builder without actually having to use devices at the table. They wanted to build their character, print it out, and roll physical dice. Then, after a few sessions, level up in Sheet Goblin and print an updated sheet out with all of their new abilities organized in their Action Menu.

You wont find any digital dice rollers, HP tracking, VTT or live-play tools. Talented people in the Nimble community already have built tons of great options for digital table play and online play.

I'll admit, for a project that prints paper character sheet, it got a little out of hand. 😆

- If you try Sheet Goblin and find it useful, DM me and I'll send an invite code to create an account.

- If you're a Game Master running a regular Nimble game, I'm looking for 2-3 beta testers for the 'Organizer' account role, which opens up features to manage a campaign, invites, party members and their characters, and homebrew items that you can make for any PC in the campaign.
