so basically i lost the original septum i was pierced with so i bought a cheap replacement from shien- however. i only just heard that some of the jewelry contains led metal that can cause lifelong health problems.

i wouldn't care as much if it was jewellry that i wore once a week for no longer than three hours at a time but this is a NOSE ring that i have had in for TWO YEARS NONSTOP.

i'm worried i've been inhaling led fumes or dust or smthn. the jewelry shows no signs of decay or rusting but im still super paranoid. how cooked am i?
