Burnt Out Girl Scout Leader
I’m burnt out on giving so much myself to a group of girls and there parents. But often feel like some of the volunteers don’t care about my kids.
I do the planning, I do the organizing, I do the yearly financial reports, I do the shopping, I do the badges, the bridging. I have been doing it for 8 years.
Every time I’m busy caring for others kids and something happens to mine it seems that the parents don’t step up.
I’m feeling lost on what to do. A big part of me wants to throw on the towel.
