Looking for a "deserved power fantasy" type game
Basically something that is close to Doom in spirit, a game with a narrative what, with lack of better words jerks off your ego, but is challenging enough for it to feel deserved.
As another, much less known example, but wich is closer to what im looking for - Trepang2. Enemies in this game are absolutely terrified of 106 (main character) and all the allies in hub area keep their contact to minimum and with a bulletproof glass in between with him. Over the top combat with a lot of panicked screams from opponents and kickass music never lets you forget what in the world of SCP inspired horrors, it is the action movie protagonist what is the most dangerous thing, and that thing is you.
In short : Hard game (the harder the better) where you are the coolest bastard around and this fact is acknowledged by the story. Optionally : violence, open conflict, fast paced, great music. Genre and gameplay type are not important, as long as the feel of ridiculously over the top badassery is present, it can be game centered around dogfights ( now thinking about it, Ace Combat counts i think), racing or even something text based.
