Went through multiple rounds with the Mobility division at Reliance Jio over the past few weeks.
The process itself started very positively strong conversations, clear alignment, and fairly confident communication around next steps and timelines. Based on this, I moved forward in good faith and aligned my decisions accordingly, including stepping away from parallel opportunities.
However, post final discussions, things have been stuck at the approval stage with no clear visibility. Despite multiple follow-ups and even sharing a firm timeline from my end, there has been no concrete update or closure.
I understand that approvals in large organizations can take time. But what felt off here was the mismatch between the intent communicated during the process and the lack of closure at the final stage especially when candidates are expected to make real trade-offs.
This isn’t about delays alone, but about how uncertainty is handled when candidates are already invested and making decisions based on the signals they receive.
