Redditors, recently rated Vet here. I have my VHIC that says service connected so I know I have commissary privileges. I have been checking my eligibility on this website: https://corp.commissaries.com/dmdc/form/auth?referer=/dmdc/protected\_link/0, which says it can’t find any record that I am eligible.

I called DMDC, who confirmed that DEERS does not have any disability status tied to my DOD ID. Will this actually prevent me from using the commissary? I’ve been there with authorized patrons and they always scan their military ID so I’m thinking the scanner will not recognize my VHIC.

PS this is not a base access question. I have other credentials that will get me through the gate.

Thanks
