Thieaudio Origin fit issue resolved

Hello everyone, recently I bought Origin and I had Tea pros before. Tea pros fit me exceptionally well with the divinus velvet M/L size.

When I recieved Origin i was really excited and tried it for sometime, fit didn't seem like an issue and it sounded incredible. Way better than my Tea pros, especially with high volume. With low volume, the differences were subtle except for the Bass. I decided to sell my Tea pros and listed it online.

Meanwhile I stated using Origin as my daily driver. After 30 min mark my ears started paining and I figured the M/L size was bigger and stated using dunu balanced tips M size. This reduced the pain a bit but still I couldn't wear it for long. Not more than 35 to 40 mins. I went with S size stock tips of Origin. Those were too small and the seal was gone and it affected the sound drastically.

I found a buyer for my Tea pros and before shipping it to him I did AB testing and realized how good the Tea pros fit was. I was on the verge of cancelling the deal with him and I instead wanted to sell Origin and sacrifice the better quality of sound for better fit. Tea pros just disappeared in my ears, it felt like heaven when removed Origin and put back Tea pros.

So, I wanted check one last tip before taking the final decision so ordered Divinus velvet S/M size.

It changed everything. The seal is as good as it was with M/L, no loss in sound quality and the main issue was resolved. I could go for 2 hours without any discomfort. Of course it didn't disappear like the Tea pros did but was way better compared to before.

So, I used it for 2 days to be sure and later decided to keep the Origin and sold Tea pros.

Never knew tips could make such huge difference. Divinus velvet tips saved a lot of money and the headache of finding a better iem than tea pro.

Now im done with this journey. Ill be keeping the origins till they die.!!

Found my endgame iems and tips!

So Origin owners and people who want to buy Origin, take tips rolling very seriously. Dont give up easily, there are plenty of options, something will definitely suit you.

Happy listening!!

Thieaudio Origin alternative

Guys, is there an iem that sounds like Origin but smaller in size!!

Origin sounds amazing, its my endgame iem but the only issue is its size. It starts hurting my ears after 30 to 40mins.

I really want to know if there is an iem that sounds like Origin but the size is like Tea pro (Tea pros fit me really well, I can go for hours without taking break)

Thieaudio Origin is the most underrated iem

Recently bought Thieaudio Origin. I'm in love with it. I love balanced sound signature with bass boost. This is the best I've heard till date. I've also tried the monarch series and hype series and many other flagship iems from different brands but none can even come close to Origin in terms of musicality and enjoyment. The bass is awesome! So different from what I've heard on other iems. It juat rattles your skull with the right recordings. Even with such big bass it maintains clarity of vocals and the treble is sparkly yet smooth. The soundstage is huge. It just sounds grand. Maybe because of the implementation of BC driver. I really cant appreciate it enough. Its an absolutely amazing set if you want to enjoy your music. Thieaudio has done a great job here. Take a bow!!

Hello audiophiles, I want to buy my first DAP and i have been reading a lot of reviews. I had Hiby R4, Fiio M21, Hiby R6 iii 2025 and ibasso dx180 on my list. After a lot of research I'm trying to decide between R4 and M21.

I really want to buy M21 but MSEB on R4 is the only thing stopping me from going for M21. Is the MSEB really that good or can the PEQ on M21 also be used in the similar way??

Also, I've read that R4 hass better bass compared to M21.

Please tell me if I should go for the R4 for better bass and MSEB or go for M21 for better battery life smoother UI and slightly better resolution

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy my first DAP. I've tried R4 but not R6. Going by the reviews there is not much difference between the two in terms of sound quality. The only meaningful advantage of R6 would be the volume knob. For me that alone doesn't justify the extra 15k.

If anybody has used both these devices please give me your inputs. Which one would be a better buy??
