Cancelled and got a dissenting
We only use our standard Starlink during camping season and even then only turn on unlimited roam when we have trips planned. Otherwise I was keeping it on standby for the $5 a month which I thought was tolerable. With the increase to $10 a month and hearing about others cancelling and getting a better deal I have it a shot.
Within a day of cancelling I got a message asking to setup a call. At first he only offered $20 off roam when we were using it but were said no deal. Second offer was 1/2 off unlimited roam for the next two years. We thought this was good enough and accepted it.
Doing the rough math we’ll still be paying $10 a month for standby on the months we aren’t using it so not a great deal over the two years but at least brought it back to what we spent before and the more we use it the better deal it is.
