Asking for a cousin who is Canadian but now lives in SE Asia who is an upcoming sophomore. He is going through the Cambridge/IB curriculum and I am helping him understand how best to prep for the 2028-2029 cycle.

Does the US admissions work the same for Canadians as US citizens? or are they grouped into international? And what are some things to keep in mind for international students in this situation? Are they eligible for most summer programs, and do admissions work similarly? I have no clue as I myself am a domestic US citizen.

Would love any pointers and/or direction from folks who have been in a similar boat.

I'm an incoming freshman and I just got into the Sustainability LLC that is housed in Jester East. Would love to know about people's experiences and if they liked it - both the LLC and program as well as the Jester East dorm.
