Please help !!

I would like to buy an air conditioner but it requires a hose in the window, I’m scared of spiders crawling in at night as I live in UK…

Is there any solution to that ? Is there some kind of seal I could buy so it would stop the spiders ?

Air coolers are not a good replacement as I have one and it’s completely useless..
