I have interest in the core field of ECE department (vlsi/embedded systems and the like). So do major companies come for placements in these fields?

How is the GATE scenario here,do people go into top iits after doing btech from this institute?

When NIT dgp,NIT jsr and jadavpur university are compared,from the perspective of ece core placements and academics ONLY,which institute should i prefer? Seniors please help. I may get NIT DGP/NIT JSR ECE/jadavpur university IEE or ECE
