When people were posting about visiting the village that the then upcoming Silent Hill F was based on, I remember being quite envious. Who would have predicted I’d have the opportunity to do just that for Silent Hill Townfall? 😅
St Monans is a really pretty fishing village in Fife, Scotland. While it was reasonably clear for my visit, you can imagine how atmospheric this place would be on a day with lot of fog. It was really cool getting to walk around and trying to work out what locations could be included in or have inspired parts of the game. We know the harbour will play a big part, but I can see the church, located just outside the village, being well-utilised too!
All in all, a really nice day trip! I can’t wait to see exactly how St Amelia looks in the game itself!
