I 17F have a feeling that 18M is making me look like im the one chasing him and it's annoying.
Hey guys,there's this guy (18M) who has been looking at me (17F) for a year now in a badminton academy. I was not interested in him or anyone there,until I started noticing him looking at me frequently and I got a little interested on what he is up to. We play together everyday but never talked. Our game chemistry is soo good. He always waves hi and bye to me when we are alone while no one is present.Later I came to know that he was a shy guy and so I initiated some convos a few times like asking help to lend me his book...stuff like that. He said he will lend but he never did and I also didn't ask again cuz I didn't want it to get awkward btwn us. But we sight each other like every day...
So we are a group of 5,2 boys(him and his frnd,same grade as me) and 3 girls (me,a clg and his neighbour girl with whom he grew up with). I talk to his frnd just fine but he never talks with either of us girls(he used to talk with that neighbour girl before teen). We 5 got each other's ig...I was the one to follow him first. And I found out that he is in his sigma boy Era...which gave me a little ick.
So now,I stopped noticing him for a few weeks cuz it didnt seem like getting anywhere and it's just a waste of my time and energy. I'm suspecting that he told his frnd smth bad about me,like I was the one looking at him or idk but I do know I am in their convos ,which I don't like. During their matches together,smt I would be watching the match and his frnd would glance at me and murmur smth to him and they smt smirk too. I tried asking his frnd indirectly like are you hiding smth from me and do u have anything to say me cuz we talk just fine and he replied no and I was like okay...But I know he and his frnd talk abt me and it's not a good convo and I'm getting annoyed by it...like atleast make a move or don't look and I even gave him many openings too. I want to confront him but I feel like he will turn it around like I was the one chasing him and I do not like it.
So do you think they are talking abt me or I'm just overthinking. Even if they are talking abt me ,I want to know what it's abt(suggest what would they be probably talking abt me)and I'm getting annoyed.
