Kings Park looking out over the city on a delightful Sunday afternoon.
Doesn't get better than this. Well a win against GWS in a few hours might be the topping on the cake, but I won't hold my breath 😆

I fell in love with Rotorua years ago and since I started running ive always wanted to run the marathon around the lake. 8 months of training paid off today. I though I'd come through at 4:30. 2 deg when we started, and I was surprised to feel like I was cruising at 5:08/km pace. I kept that up for 23k, then fatigue hit and I tried to stay under 6/km for the rest of the way. Such lovely support across the whole course with the community coming out to cheer. The scenery was spectacular. Now to eat and recover and party!
Happy Saturday everyone!
