Had a weird incident just now in my automatic 2012 civic ex
I was making a quick errand down the street, started my car let it warm up then hit the road. 2 minutes in everything was normal until i step on the gas fairly hard causing it to downshift and it shifted really hard and made the whole car shake. It kept shifting hard like that until I pulled over and turned the car off.
I start the car a few minutes after doing a visual inspection and it stopped shifting hard but the motor appeared to be vibrating a little bit more then normal. I suspect it’s my new torque mount that I installed 2 months ago already going bad but want to see if anyone might know what it could be. I checked to see if the mount bolts were still tight and they were, I marked them when I installed them.
I’m just very thrown off by the fact that it’s just shifting fine all of a sudden after shifting terribly like that. I tried to replicate the incident again and can’t get it to do it again
