So thinking of buying a high mileage 2009 vw passat 1.8tsi am I mad? I know tax is 600 but a nice car to drive takes some compromises but don't want to get stung with something I shouldn't have bought in the first place so what your opinion??

Have been told its been regularly serviced, timing chain done 8 months ago with ONE owner.....so am I mad or should I go for it?

Any veedub experts all input greatly appreciated
