20s Couple - City Recs?
Hello, my boyfriend (24M) and I (23F) are looking to move out of our hometown in Wisconsin in a couple years but we have no idea where we want to go. Our ideal home is somewhere warm most of the year, close to a large body of water, NOT insanely high cost of living, and somewhere that has lots of options for things to do but doesn’t feel overly touristy. Of course, we have considered states like California and Florida but we’re really not sure what place would best suit us. Neither of us are huge club-goers but we do love a nice, laid-back bar. We’re both somewhat outdoorsy and enjoy spending time outside (walks, fishing, boating, etc.,) Our usual date-night activities include TopGolf, karaoke, and trying new restaurants. I work in accounting and my boyfriend is a mechanical engineer so the job market may also have to factor in.
