Is it just me, or does Kotoko’s line at the very beginning of the Trial 3 teaser sound a bit lonely?

Is it just me, or does Kotoko’s line at the very beginning of the Trial 3 teaser sound a bit lonely?

It might just be my imagination, but when she says "This is the end of the road," her tone feels slightly melancolic. What did you all think about her tone of voice in that line when you heard it?

I changed my mind and voted to forgive Amane.

Thanks to all the input you guys shared, I ended up changing my mind. I'm now one of the people who voted to forgive Amane!

How do you think Futa would be if he were a 15-year-old boy?

What if what he did outside of MILGRAM was the exact same as now, and his story inside MILGRAM wasn't much different either? Assuming his family background remained the same as well—where only simple details like his family's occupations or names were disclosed.

What verdict do you think Milgram's fans would have reached regarding him?

I feel like I want to forgive Kotoko now.

There’s no grand reason for it—maybe I’ve just grown a bit fond of her. Even though I’m aware of what she did wrong, I personally want to forgive her.

How would you judge Amane if she were a 20-year-old adult?

Assuming everything she did inside MILGRAM remains the same, and her circumstances outside—up to killing her mother—are identical to her original story, with the only difference being that she is 20 years old, would you hold her fully responsible?

(poll)What was Es's most memorable line in the MILGRAM Trial 3 Voice Drama that brought you comfort?

P.S.I'm Korean, so I used Gemini to translate Es's lines from Korean to English. They might sound a bit awkward, so please understand!

Are there any iconic lines from the MILGRAM Trial 3 voice drama from your perspective?

For me, it has to be this line from Futa in Trial 3 that I attached in the image.

Kotoko's voice drama is still coming up, but I didn't want to wait until then, so I'm posting this now.

What line do you consider a favorite from Trial 3?

How would it feel if the prison guard in MILGRAM were a 10-year-old child?

This isn't a super serious question—as you can probably tell from the category, I'm just looking for some casual, fun opinions.

How would you feel if Es weren't 15 like they are now, but instead a smart, cute, and adorable 10-year-old warden who craves affection from the prisoners?

What do you guys think about Mahiru’s behavior, which almost seems like an obsession with femininity?

It feels like she takes self-satisfaction in emphasizing her femininity for her boyfriend and strives toward an ideal, traditional view of womanhood.

Since Reddit tends to be pretty sensitive about topics like this, I figured people here would have a lot to say, so I wanted to ask.

Just to be clear, I don't lean toward or against any specific ideology—I'm just genuinely curious.

Can someone who committed a crime really start over?

As you can tell from the post title, the question Es raised in Fuuta's 3rd Trial Voice Drama isn't just limited to Fuuta—it actually applies to all the prisoners.

Maybe it's because I'm Korean, but I'm not entirely sure...

At times, statements like this from Es feel almost like an romanticization of murder.

However... listening to what Es and the Reddit users mean by "forgiveness," it might sound a bit strange, but I find it genuinely romantic. And honestly, I even envy those of you who have such warm hearts.

Returning to the main point, I'll ask the question as it is:

Can someone who committed a crime really start over?

Is the rumor about all MILGRAM characters being dead actually true?

I really don't want to believe it, but hypotheses like that were circulating for a while, and even now, I still want to believe they are alive...

However, seeing the recent teaser illustration for the upcoming pop-up shop in Japan makes me feel like the prisoners—or maybe even Es, if we're unlucky—might actually all be dead... Of course, given the nature of promotional artwork, it could just be a stylized concept, but the timing feels suspiciously deliberate since the pop-up shop opens just two days after Kotoko's 3rd trial album release.

Is it possible that Kotoko actually cares about Amane in her own way?

This might just be a baseless theory of mine, but seeing Kotoko pet Lucky-chan got me thinking.

Kotoko denies it, but given how sharp she is at figuring out the other prisoners' crimes, she might have already deduced Amane's background—that Amane was a victim of religious child abuse who ended up in MILGRAM after killing her mother.

So, while Kotoko outwardly claims Amane is just another sinner she has to deal with... maybe, deep down, her conscience is keeping her from actually taking action against her?

As another piece of weak evidence on my part, there weren't any lyrics targeting Amane in Kotoko's Trial 2 song, 'DEEP COVER'...

Of course, this could totally just be nonsense on my part! Haha.

Even though I know Futa's flaws, I just love him for who he is.

I agree with the point that Amane proselytized to Futa, and that Futa used her cult-like beliefs to comfort himself. But even so, I just love Futa as a character so much.

I don't condone his actions, but I guess I can't help it since I've already fallen for him.

I think people who like the other prisoner characters probably feel similar to me~

Anyway, hope you have a great time being a MILGRAM fan!

I'm voting "Guilty" for Amane.

My reason is that I simply cannot accept why she killed Shidou and Mahiru—two prisoners who showed her endless affection—just because she didn't want to deny the 12 years of life she had lived.

That’s why I personally really dislike the Trial 3 voice drama, where Amane gets saved so easily by Es.

Taking a life is an undeniable crime, not some childish play pretend. While I can understand her feelings regarding the abuse from her mother and her desire for revenge, her motivation for committing murder inside MILGRAM is far too personal and selfish for me to find acceptable.

Of course, your values may differ from mine, and I don't think you're wrong for having a different perspective.

Therefore, please refrain from harsh emotional attacks simply because someone holds a different opinion from yours.

As seen on the MILGRAM voting screen, Jackalope clearly stated from the very beginning that we are free to vote based on our own thoughts, unrestricted by any standards.

Amane’s mother’s backstory isn’t nearly as detailed as his father’s.

For his father, the story outlines why he turned to that corrupted religion: after being betrayed by an acquaintance, his business failed. That’s when the cult—with its atrocious doctrines—approached him. Because his business started thriving after he joined, he naturally became even more obsessed with it. In contrast, very little is revealed about Amane’s mother, other than the fact that she abused Amane simply for not obeying the cult's teachings.

Personally, I found it disappointing that there was no narrative explaining why his mother came to believe in such a religion in the first place.

How did you all feel about Futa's 3rd Trial Interrogation?

As a Futa fan, listening to his 3rd Trial Voice Drama made me appreciate his inner growth, but I've also seen some people argue that, in the end, he only ended up reinforcing elementary schooler Amane's religious beliefs, and that he passively allowed Shidou to be killed despite knowing about it beforehand.

Honestly, I agree with those points... But he genuinely wants to atone for his mistakes, and it feels like he's also trying to protect and look after Amane while they're here in MILGRAM.

Um... even as I say this, I guess it can't be helped if it sounds like I'm taking his side just because I love him so much...

How did you all feel after listening to Futa's 3rd Trial Voice Drama?

What do you think are the flaws in Milgram's 3rd Trial?

Some Milgram fans feel turned off by issues with the story's plausibility and how quickly the prisoners seemed to drop their core convictions.

What do you personally consider the biggest flaw of the 3rd Trial?
