I have a crush on Subaru. He is very attractive, both in personality and in looks.
Sharing some feelings I've harbored for a long time.
I've had a big crush on Subaru ever since I was in middle school, watching Season 1 in 2017. Actually he was probably my first crush ever, like, even before I found a in real life boy attractive. So yeah, he is special.
I remember while my friends were all hyping the show up, they were saying things like "poor Subaru" and "Suffering: The Show" which only irked me more because I found him annoying and kind of icky.
"Gross" "Selfish!" "Leave Emilia alone!"
That's what I thought of him.
Until that episode came. From Zero. I was rolling my eyes when Rem was confessing her love to him until
"I love Emilia."

I'm genuinely serious here. Yes, it was that line. It was like a switch flipped inside of me.

It's weird because, pardon my language, but I wasn't like the other weeb girls. I very rarely found anime guys attractive, whether they were from shoujo series, sports anime, or insanely popular characters clearly designed to attract fangirls like Levi from AOT. They were cool sure, but I was never like "my husband!!" or anything.
Now, well, Subaru isn't my husband either. He's Emilia's.
It should be that way, and I love him that way.
