I just got gifted a SHEIN dress and I don’t know what to do with it
Ok so I have this family friend, she’s very sweet and very supportive of my fashion endeavours, but she’s not really all that knowledgeable on Lolita brands or the ethics of fast fashion. A while ago she gave me this Carebears Lolita dress, which was very thoughtful, but the issue is that it’s from SHEIN. And now I don’t know what to do with it.
I don’t wanna throw it out because that would feel rude. The dress itself is in good condition so it would feel wasteful to throw it out. I can try reselling it but I don’t know if anyone would want it, and the thrift stores around me don’t accept SHEIN so I can’t donate it. I could try wearing it but I also know that it’s taboo to wear fast fashion. Ugggh I don’t know what to do with this dress! Send help
