Made me a ballsona!

(copied desc from my post on lgballt)

things to note:

flags in order of number are

  1. honeybee transfem

  2. xenogender

  3. ocelot therian/nagual (flag coined by me)

  4. lesbian

  5. intersex

as well, the pronoun "ye" is a short pronoun (3rd person singular, all genders encompassed) coming from Nahuatl, an indigenous Mexican language. I use it somewhat as a neopronoun in english but if I ever get the chance to truly learn and speak Nahuatl obviously that's what I'll be called regardless lol.

also do note that I myself are indigenous Mexican (mixed, Mexican coming from my father) hence why I partake in nagualism and use a Nahuatl pronoun (although I wouldn't really gatekeep a language if you wanna learn a language obviously you'll need pronouns from it)

in Spanish I'd probably alternate between él and ella, even though I basically fully consider myself a girl (although xenic) I like occasional masc presentation and pronouns r just words who's gonna execute me lol

Made flag for my theriotype/nagual

havent seen any ocelot therian (or otherwise) flags, and specifically tried to incorporate meseamerican/aztec imagery due to me feeling it also falls under nagualism (mesoamerican spiritual practice of being spiritually bound to an animal. before anyone revolts I am native mexican so don't get mad please it feels significant to me)

hope this is an ok sub for this?

I wish I was comfortable with they/them pronouns

Ive always known and been comfortable with my orientation. For simplification I'm effectively aroaceflux and lesbian. Thats been obvious to me ever since before I had words for it.

Words. How frustrating words can be sometimes.

I've had a hard time with my gender for so long. I never felt any as a kid, maybe because my circumstances didn't allow for me to feel much. I was kinda passively treated as a girl but nothing was really engrained in me and I personally felt no reason to believe I either was or wasn't one. It was just kinda... a thing. Then I move in with my current parents and they kinda drill it in me a bit more, so I accept it. And this matches up for some time, but then puberty hits... and it hits again. The second time made me more masculine, which was confusing, but welcomed. But from that I kinda assumed I was a guy now. Just as much as I assumed I was a girl before. Passively, not really for or against it. Now other people didn't take my development too well for some reason but that's a story for another time.

How this relates to the title is... generally, Ive been confused for some time. I wasn't given much room to explore myself, so only for some years now (I'm currently 18, so maybe since ive been 15?) ive tried to explore a bit. Finally figure MYSELF out. In doing so ive always come back to xenogenders and neopronouns and "contradictory labels" because its hard to explain my experience in a "normal" way. But I wish I could. It's easier for others. People always say maybe I'm nonbinary or genderfluid or something. And when they do, they expect they/them and even I expect they/them. But Ive never been comfortable when anyone uses those pronouns on me. Idk why, it just feels so wrong. But I rarely like he, and she is barely hanging on, so what if I lose those? Most people will be stumped because sadly my "weird identity" just isn't normalized yet. But many, even if begrudgingly, will at least accept they/them. But I can't do that to myself.

I just wish it was easier to define myself and my journey and whatever else I may become. I feel like all my friends have such an easy time being cis and queer or trans (binary or not, straight or not) or whatever. People tend to accept them. But they've already questioned me and called parts of my identity gross.... so idk. I wanna be regular old they/them enby. But for some weird reason I can't.
