I got a new bike and I noticed that I can hear a sound while pedalling in any gear, it sounds like it’s coming from the rear derailleur. I’ve tried making small adjustments with the barrel adjuster, but I can still hear it when the alignment looks good. Also, I don’t think my chain is worn as it measures pretty much exactly 12 inches for 12 links when I checked with a ruler. I did wipe and re-lube the chain with dry bike chain lube, but I don’t think it caused this? Thanks for your help!
