Al-Lāt, Al-ʿUzzā and Manat? Nabatean gods?
As per Quran 53:19-20, what is the historicity of these gods?
The historical evidence seems to be that these were Nabatean gods that would have worshipped far north of Mecca.
What do the historical sources say - actual inscriptions and contemporary religious sources? Does this provide a clue as to the location of the Quranic revelation?
