This is for the South Riding Fishing Pier..

We have recently seen people taking bluegill out of the pond at the south riding fishing pier, even though it is posted everywhere that it is catch and release. This is a great fishing spot and I’d hate to see it ruined.

This was an Asian family. I know (from many years of experience) they usually keep and eat everything, which is fine, but this pond specifically states it is catch and release only with big visible signs everywhere, yet they came with a big bucket and started filling it up.

Does DWR have any ownership of this pond?
Who do you report to for this kind of stuff if it is a private pond?
