Does anybody know what was happening last night around 7th Ave between 11th & 12th?

I was surprised to hear what sounded like a full-on street party from the back of my building as I was going to bed. The middle of the block was dark, so I’m thinking it could have come from the street.

I’m not even complaining (thank you white noise machine) – I was just mystified to hear what sounded like dozens of people intermittently shouting like they were watching a sporting event at 11:30pm on a Sunday night. And coincidentally, that same block is lined with film production trucks this morning.
