Want to black out the stock chrome oval exhaust tips. Was wondering if anyone has a particular guide on how to do it. From what I gather, after you remove them, you have to clean them, degrease them, and sand them down before using HVT paint. Is that all the steps?

If anyone who's painted their exhausts can chime in on the particular steps they followed, I would appreciate it. Want to make sure I do it the right way.
