Anyone ever experience this? I’ve got a 16’ 640i N55 EWG. About 6 months ago this started happening. It just comes and goes, sometimes not at all. It sounds like a pot of tea is ready. It usually lasts a few seconds and just goes away. Typically happens ONLY when moving sub 40mph around idle to maybe 5/10% throttle. It’s odd. I’m aware of the PCV failures and I tried that Mickey Mouse PCV replacement ( I know I know, but my VC isn’t leaking one bit and I really don’t want to change it quite yet unless I have to. That didn’t fix anything and the issue is exactly the same. No oil leaks or anything of that sort. Using BimmerLink I can see that my intake manifold pressure slightly drops when this happens and comes right back to normal values when it stops making that noise. Any advice is appreciated
