Needing help from germans !

Hello, dear German Catholics—if any of you are reading this /r, I could use your help.

I’m French and moved to Germany about a year ago. I met my partner here and am now lucky enough to be part of a family in Germany. But as we all know, family life comes with its share of difficult moments. I was there with them at a funeral a few weeks ago and felt really awkward because I couldn’t really “participate in the ceremony properly” since I didn’t know the phrases and prayers by heart in German.

Can you give me some guidance on what I need to learn? If you have, for example, something for children with the main prayers written on it, I'd love to have it!

Are the phrases and prayers basically the same as in French? We have the “Our Father” as well as the “Universal Prayer” (sorry if the translation isn't quite right).

Thanks !!

Sorry i'm new and completely lost

Hi, I need help:

Alocasia “Stingray”: yellow leaves falling off—MANY of them

Good news: one leaf is growing, so is there hope?

Problem: I’m a newbie (only explanation you'll need), so I probably overwatered it, and it’s also probably not getting enough sunlight because our window is covered by a thermal blanket

Solution: Is it a good idea to repot it in fresh, dry soil? (Alocasia soil, the one i've got is from SYBAsoil)

Questions:

  • If I repot it, can I water it again? It’s been over a week since I last watered it to let it dry out and stop rotting
  • The roots are very weak and have most likely rotted; the plant is no longer stable in the soil and is falling over. Should I give up hope and accept that it’s going to die?
  • How do you water an alocasia so it doesn’t get too much water? I understand that the soil needs to be dry, but how much should I give a small plant? All the websites I'm searching on only give me the frequency of watering
  • Should i get a lamp ?

Thank you, and I’m sorry for all these questions that you must hear over and over again—I was given some Alocasia plants, but you have to start somewhere, and right now it’s off to a bad start.

Also, excuse my english, i'm French.
