Selling car parts

I just started selling car parts. What do I need to know about bench testing parts? What do I need? I normally test them inside the cars b4 I pull them but some cars don't have keys. Tia

New, Question

This is the scrap metal I accumulated. The pellet stove and snowblower pieces are not a part of the trip. This is what I sorted everything down to. Is there anything that u see I should changed? The fan in the electrical stuff I will take off but the bugs ate me alive so I stopped tonight. Tia
