[1969] Hey, Herb... We got this demo from a brother and sister act. They have a great sound, but...well...they're just too clean cut to be "hip" for Top 40 radio. Real squares, if you ask me. Have them come chat, or we send them over to RCA or Capitol Records?

[1949] So, my buddy Artie and I were up having a belt at that place on Amsterdam near 72nd, and we darn near got hit crossing the street by this tiny car. He stopped to see if we were okay. It's a "VW" the driver says. From West Germany. It's half as big as my new Hudson. No way it'll sell here.
