Lost several plants in zone 5a
Help!! I lost several of my established peony plants to the winter this year. Zone 5a. A few tubers flat out rotted 😫, and a few others came up looking like this, buds and stems that all of a sudden turned black.
Any idea what happened? We did have a bad several day freeze after a couple weeks of warmth — maybe this is damage from that?
