Baby is not able to fully support her head at 5 months 1 week old

Hi all. As the title suggests, my 5 months 1 week old is not able to fully support her head/doesn’t have complete neck control. Her head kind of falls forward when she is in a sitting position (assisted) on the bed/playmat and while she momentarily lifts it when someone calls her name, it immediately goes back to the falling forward position. When we hold her in our lap and try to bring her to a sitting position, her head control is better than that on bed/playmat but it’s not perfect. It still kind of wobbles. She is able to do tummy time for 8-10 mins at a time and mostly lifts her head at that time and also looks around. She smiles, babbles, responds to voices, tracks object, tries to grab things around her but doesn’t try to sit or life her head when she is lying down. Our next appointment with the paediatrician is in 8 days where he will examine her. His tone kind of gave me an impression that she should have been able fully support her head by now but may be I am anxious and overthinking it. Also, I wanted to start solids because she shows interest in the food that we eat and constantly tracks it if we are eating around her but I am not sure I can do it till she gains complete control over her neck. Does anyone have any firsthand experience to share in this regard? Did it happen that you baby gained neck control after 5-6 months of age and was completely on track with milestones thereafter? Thanks
