Hi all, I'm currently having a go at making a granny square blanket and joining using the CJAYG method.Before making all of the granny squares I wanted to join 10 to get an idea of the width.

However now I'm not sure how to yarn off and continue later so I can use the honey yarn to make more squares.

I assume that I can make cut the working yarn and make a knot but then when I start the next row, how do I start the double crochet? Do I do a fake DC with chains?
