Sometimes I see folks who have somethings written on their charts and have difficult dasha but the exact opposite happens, how and why is that? While I understand astrology shows probability, how is it becoming completely opposite of what's shown?

Like for example: I have exalted Jupiter in my lagna and currently going through rahu-saturn with sade sati. It should be totally life shattering, but my jupiter should help me right? Except I feel very less confident, a little depressed, unsure and doubtful what to do and its a bit of chaotic moment... So what's the point of having a jupiter?
