Has anyone recently traveled to the USA after staying about 5 months on their previous visit? What was your experience with CBP and what kind of questions did they ask?

If your I-94 was valid for 6 months and you left within that time, can CBP still deny entry or deport you on a future trip? I stayed 5 months .
