I work with kids in their home. I’m not going to go into too much detail but my company is strict about time off. My house is getting redone and I have to miss an afternoon of work to take care of my dog. I feel like they won’t accept that, so I almost want to replace my dog with a kid lol since people seem more accepting of that.

I feel like if I need, or even god forbid take a trip somewhere, I have to pull teeth. Whereas parents get to say a hard no to things and it’s accepted, due to their kids schedule. Not that I’d want to be dealing with kids, but I need the break too. And in this case, I’m not just leaving my dog in a house that’s being redone.
